Dr. Michael Bennett joined Glafabra in October as Acting Chief Business Officer, leading partnering and business development for the Live-cel platform, including the search for a manufacturing partner.
Most recently he was VP, Corporate Liaison at Kyowa Kirin. Before that, he was Director of Business Development at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, where he headed the BD, IP and legal teams, and VP Business Development and Licensing at Oxford Gene Technology. He holds a DPhil in Molecular Endocrinology from the University of Oxford.
For diligence purposes: Glafabra's partnering conversations are now led by someone who has evaluated cell and gene therapy programs from the pharma side.
